Shop Donated Goods
We are fortunate to receive a variety of high quality donations, and our stock changes regularly
Save items from landfill and refresh your home and wardrobe at minimum expenditure.
From clothes, children’s toys, homeware, baby equipment and books. We have a huge variety, with many items in new condition.
Donate Food
When we are full, the cost of food for our cats and kittens is more than £300 per week.
You can help by:
- Donating any surplus cat food from your own home
- Donating from our Amazon Wish List
- Dropping any purchased food into our shop
Volunteer
We have a great team of volunteers and we do have vacancies for new additions.
Our volunteers work one day a week 10.30-12.30, helping us clean the cat pens and rooms
We also have cat socialisers who come in for an hour in the afternoons to socialise the cats.
You can also help staff the charity shop.
Social Media Support
We will be very interested to hear in anyone who could help us develop our social media prescence:
- filmmakers
- photographers
- video editors
- those with experience with Instagram or TikTok
Also, if you simply like and follow our Facebook posts, this helps us greatly.

We do regular car boot sales

Legacies
Donations from legacies have kept Heatons Cats in business over recent years.
If you are in a position to remember us in your will it could make a huge difference to our ability to save so many abandoned cats.
